Topic

During this two-day-course you will learn the „Musts“ of persuasive writing:

 

How to answer the most important questions fo your readers short but accurate.

How to structure your information in the most effective way. How to avoid boring language by writing without fill words, substantiations and bureaucratic phrases. How to focus and to find an angle that keeps your readers engaged. Whatever kind oft text you write – the lessons learned during this course will help you to deliver your messages convincingly to your readers.

Ilan Greenberg

 

The lecturer has reported across the globe for publications including The New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, The New Republic, Foreign Policy, Slate and The Wall Street Journal. Since 2013

he has taught writing and international affairs at Bard College's Globalization and International Affairs program. In 2015 he was a visiting professor at the Indian Institute of Journalism & New Media,

in Bangalore, India. Ilan Greenberg was granted several prominent Fellowships and awards. In 2015 he founded the crisis reporting platform Coda, which adheres to

a unique approach of following a single topic throughout its unfolding.
